Cinnamon Roll Cake is a warm, gooey cake with buttery cinnamon swirls and sweet vanilla glaze — inspired by classic cinnamon buns.
Ingredients
Cake Batter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups milk
- ½ cup melted butter
Cinnamon Filling
- ¾ cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Glaze
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 4–5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
- Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. Make the Cake Batter
In a large bowl, mix:
- Flour
- Sugar
- Baking powder
Add:
- Eggs
- Vanilla
- Milk
- Melted butter
Stir until smooth and pour into the prepared pan.
3. Prepare Cinnamon Swirl
Mix together:
- Softened butter
- Brown sugar
- Flour
- Cinnamon
Drop spoonfuls over the batter and swirl with a knife.
4. Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
5. Glaze the Cake
Whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over the warm cake straight from the oven.
