Carnivore Chilled Custard Bites

Carnivore Chilled Custard Bites

A simple carnivore-friendly treat made with eggs, cream, and gentle sweetness (if desired), chilled into bite-sized custard squares.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: carnivore-compatible sweetener of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Whisk together eggs, cream, butter, salt, and any sweetener until smooth.
  3. Pour into a lightly greased small baking dish or silicone mold.
  4. Bake in a water bath for 30–40 minutes, until the custard is just set.
  5. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  6. Cut into bite-sized cubes or pop out of molds.
  7. Serve chilled.

Texture & Flavor

  • Smooth, rich, and creamy
  • Similar to a firm egg custard or crustless cheesecake bite
  • High in fat and protein, with very few carbohydrates

For a stricter carnivore version, omit any sweetener and let the cream, butter, and eggs provide the flavor.
