Easy Cheese Meat Pancakes — Crispy, Cheesy & Irresistible

Golden, crispy on the outside, and loaded with juicy meat and melted cheese inside — these savory pancakes are comfort food at its best. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Pancake Batter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ cups milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter

Meat & Cheese Filling

  • 300 g ground beef, chicken, or turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions

For Cooking

  • Oil or butter for frying

Instructions

1. Cook the Filling

  1. Heat a skillet with a little oil.
  2. Sauté onions until soft.
  3. Add garlic and ground meat.
  4. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook until meat is browned and fully cooked.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  7. Mix in shredded cheese and herbs.

2. Prepare the Batter

  1. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and oil.
  2. Gradually add flour while whisking until smooth.
  3. Batter should be pourable and lump-free.

3. Assemble & Fry

  1. Heat a lightly greased nonstick pan.
  2. Pour a thin layer of batter into the pan.
  3. Add a spoonful of filling on one half.
  4. Fold the pancake over or top with a little extra batter.
  5. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

4. Serve Hot

Best served with:

  • Garlic yogurt sauce
  • Sour cream
  • Chili sauce
  • Ketchup

    Extra Tips

    • Add chili flakes or jalapeños for spice.
    • Use smoked cheese for deeper flavor.
    • Sprinkle extra cheese on the pan edges for crispy cheesy crust.
    • Make mini versions for party snacks or lunchboxes.
