Ingredients
- ½ cup (115 g) butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
1. Prep the Oven
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Grease a 12-cup muffin pan or line with paper liners.
2. Make the Batter
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Fold in chocolate chips or other add-ins if desired.
3. Fill the Muffin Pan
- Spoon batter into each muffin cup until about ¾ full.
4. Bake
- Bake for 12–15 minutes.
- The tops should look set while centers remain slightly soft.
5. Cool & Serve
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Carefully remove and enjoy warm or chilled.
