Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake is a rich, creamy dessert that combines smooth chocolate cheesecake with sweet strawberries on a crunchy cookie crust. It’s perfect for celebrations, parties, or when you want a bakery-style dessert at home.

Ingredients

Chocolate Crust

  • 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (or Oreos)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Cheesecake Filling

  • 3 (8 oz) packs cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate

Strawberry Layer

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or sauce

Optional Topping

  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate drizzle
  • Extra strawberries

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust

  1. Mix crushed cookies with melted butter.
  2. Press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Chill for 15 minutes.

2. Make Cheesecake Filling

  1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently.
  3. Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
  4. Fold in melted chocolate until fully combined.

3. Bake

  1. Pour filling over crust.
  2. Place pan in a water bath (optional but recommended).
  3. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 55–65 minutes until edges are set.
  4. Turn off oven and let it cool inside for 1 hour.

4. Chill

  1. Refrigerate for 4–6 hours or overnight.

5. Add Strawberry Layer

  1. Top cheesecake with sliced strawberries.
  2. Drizzle with strawberry sauce or jam.

6. Serve

  1. Decorate with whipped cream or chocolate drizzle before slicing.
