Fried Fish Recipe 😍

Ingredients

  • 500 g fish pieces (rohu, tilapia, pomfret, or any firm fish)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp flour or cornflour
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry the fish.
  2. Mix all spices, garlic paste, lemon juice, and flour into a paste.
  3. Coat fish pieces well and marinate for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Fry fish on medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides.
  6. Remove onto paper towels.

Serve With

  • Mint chutney
  • Lemon wedges
  • Onion rings
  • Fries or naan

Extra Crispy Tip

Add a little rice flour or semolina to the coating before frying.
