Ingredients
- 500 g fish pieces (rohu, tilapia, pomfret, or any firm fish)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp flour or cornflour
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Wash and pat dry the fish.
- Mix all spices, garlic paste, lemon juice, and flour into a paste.
- Coat fish pieces well and marinate for 20–30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Fry fish on medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Remove onto paper towels.

- Mint chutney
- Lemon wedges
- Onion rings
- Fries or naan
Extra Crispy Tip
Add a little rice flour or semolina to the coating before frying.
