Lemon Butter Fish Fillet is a light, flavorful dish where tender fish is seared golden and finished in a silky lemon-butter sauce.


๐ŸŸ Ingredients

  • 2 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, basa, or any white fish)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp flour (optional, for light crust)
  • 2 tbsp oil

๐Ÿ‹ Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup water or broth

1. Prep fish

  • Pat fish dry.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Lightly coat with flour if you want a crisp crust.

2. Sear

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Cook fish 3โ€“4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  • Remove and set aside.

3. Make sauce

  • In same pan, melt butter.
  • Add garlic and sautรฉ 30 seconds.
  • Add lemon juice, zest, and broth.
  • Stir and simmer 1โ€“2 minutes.

4. Combine

  • Return fish to pan.
  • Spoon sauce over fillets.
  • Add parsley and serve.
