Ingredients
Pie Crust
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Filling
- 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 2–3 medium potatoes)
- 1/2 cup butter (softened or melted)
- 3/4 cup sugar (white or brown)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk or evaporated milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Cook Sweet Potatoes
- Peel and boil sweet potatoes until soft (15–20 minutes).
- Drain and mash until smooth. Let cool slightly.
2. Make Filling
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes with butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Beat until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble Pie
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Pour filling into pie crust.
- Smooth the top.
4. Bake
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until center is set (slight jiggle is okay).
- Let cool completely before slicing.

Tip
