🧾 Ingredients

For the cake

  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • ¾ cup cake flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or cream of tartar
  • Pinch of salt

1. Prepare the oven

2. Make the yolk mixture

3. Whip the egg whites

  • place cake pan inside a larger pan filled with hot water

6. Cool

Let cool gradually to prevent collapsing.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
