Chicken breast is a lean, high-protein cut that’s versatile and easy to cook.

Simple Seasoned Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry and rub with olive oil.
  3. Mix the seasonings and coat the chicken evenly.
  4. Place in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Variations

  • Grilled: Cook 6–8 minutes per side over medium-high heat.
  • Lemon Herb: Add lemon juice and fresh herbs.
  • Garlic Parmesan: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan before baking.
  • Buffalo Chicken: Toss cooked chicken in buffalo sauce.
