🌮🥗 Doritos Taco Salad
A crunchy, flavorful salad packed with seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, cheese, and crushed Doritos.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 1 head lettuce, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 1 bag nacho cheese Doritos, lightly crushed
- ½ cup salsa
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Cook the Beef
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water; simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Prepare the Salad
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, beans, corn, and onion.
- Add the Beef
- Let the beef cool slightly, then add it to the salad.
- Dress the Salad
- Mix salsa and sour cream together and toss with the salad, or serve on the side.
- Finish
- Add the crushed Doritos just before serving to keep them crunchy.
- Toss gently and enjoy.
