🌽🧈 Dump Cream-Style Corn (Corn Casserole)
A super easy “dump and bake” side dish that’s creamy, buttery, and slightly sweet.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) cream-style corn
- 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
- 1 box (8.5 oz) corn muffin mix (like Jiffy)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but tasty)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix everything together:
- cream-style corn
- whole corn
- sour cream
- melted butter
- corn muffin mix
- cheese (if using)
- Stir until just combined (don’t overmix).
- Pour into a greased baking dish (8×8 or similar).
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, until golden on top and set in the middle.
- Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Variations
- Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick 🌶️
- Mix in crispy bacon bits 🥓
- Top with extra cheese for a gooey crust 🧀
- Add a pinch of sugar if you like it sweeter
