Ingredients
- 1.5–2 kg boneless pork loin, pork shoulder, or country-style ribs
- 1 bottle barbecue sauce
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can cola or root beer
Instructions
1. Prepare the Meat
- Cut pork into thick strips if needed.
- Place in the slow cooker.
2. Add the Ingredients
- Sprinkle onion soup mix over the meat.
- Pour cola around the pork.
- Add barbecue sauce on top.
3. Slow Cook
Cook until tender:
- Low: 7–8 hours
- High: 4–5 hours
The meat should become very soft and flavorful.
4. Optional Finish
For sticky caramelized edges:
- Transfer cooked ribs to a baking tray.
- Brush with extra barbecue sauce.
- Broil for 3–5 minutes.
