Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the lobster tails
Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell lengthwise. Gently pull the lobster meat upward and rest it on top of the shell.
  3. Make garlic butter
Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Season the lobster
Brush the garlic butter generously over the lobster meat.
  5. Bake
Place tails on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, depending on size, until the meat is opaque and lightly golden.
  6. Finish & serve
Sprinkle with parsley and serve with extra garlic butter and lemon wedges.

Tips

  • Avoid overcooking — lobster becomes rubbery quickly.
  • For extra color, broil for the last 1–2 minutes.
  • Pair with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.

Optional Add-Ons

  • Parmesan topping for extra richness
  • Cajun seasoning for spice
  • Fresh thyme or chives for herb flavor
