Ingredients
Banana Pudding Filling
- 1 package (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups whipped topping or whipped cream
Layers
- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 box vanilla wafers
Optional Garnishes
- Extra whipped topping
- Crushed vanilla wafers
- Caramel drizzle
- Banana slices
Instructions
Make the Filling
- In a bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- Fold pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in whipped topping.
Assemble the Cups
- Add crushed or whole vanilla wafers to the bottom of each serving cup.
- Layer:
- pudding mixture
- banana slices
- more wafers
- Repeat layers until cups are filled.
- Top with whipped topping and wafer crumbs.
Chill
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Tips
- Use ripe but firm bananas for best texture.
- Assemble a few hours ahead so wafers soften slightly.
