Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

1. Prepare Batter Base

2. Whip Egg Whites

  1. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
  2. Add cream of tartar.
  3. Gradually add sugar while beating until stiff peaks form.

3. Combine

  1. Gently fold egg whites into yolk mixture in batches.
  2. Do not overmix—keep the batter airy.

4. Bake

  1. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  2. Bake for 25–30 minutes until lightly golden and set.
  3. Let cool completely before removing from pan.
