Cream Cheese Pound Cake-

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan or loaf pan well.

2. Cream Butter & Cream Cheese

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar and mix until light and creamy.

3. Add Eggs

  1. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  2. Stir in vanilla extract.

4. Add Dry Ingredients

  1. Gradually add flour and salt.
  2. Mix just until combined (don’t overmix).

5. Bake

  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Bake for 75–90 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool & Serve

  1. Let cool in pan for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Turn out onto rack and cool completely.

Optional Toppings

  • Powdered sugar dusting
  • Vanilla glaze
  • Fresh berries 🍓
  • Caramel drizzle

Tip

This cake tastes even better the next day—the cream cheese makes it extra moist, dense, and rich.
