Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Prep
- Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F).
- Grease and flour a bundt pan or loaf pan well.
2. Cream Butter & Cream Cheese
- Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Add sugar and mix until light and creamy.
3. Add Eggs
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
4. Add Dry Ingredients
- Gradually add flour and salt.
- Mix just until combined (don’t overmix).
5. Bake
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake for 75–90 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool & Serve
- Let cool in pan for 15–20 minutes.
- Turn out onto rack and cool completely.
