Easy Cheese Meat Pancakes — Crispy, Cheesy & Irresistible

These savory pancakes are packed with seasoned meat, gooey cheese, and a perfectly crispy golden crust. Great for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack.

Ingredients

For the batter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ cups milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil or melted butter

For the filling

  • 300 g ground beef or chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions

For frying

  • Oil or butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the filling

  1. Heat a pan with a little oil.
  2. Cook onions until soft.
  3. Add garlic and ground meat.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Cook until browned and dry.
  6. Let cool slightly, then mix with cheese and herbs.

2. Make the pancake batter

  1. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and oil.
  2. Gradually add flour until smooth.
  3. Batter should be slightly thinner than regular pancake batter.

3. Cook the pancakes

  1. Heat a nonstick pan lightly greased with oil.
  2. Pour a thin layer of batter.
  3. Add some meat-cheese filling to one side.
  4. Fold over or cover with another thin layer of batter.
  5. Cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

4. Serve

Serve hot with:

  • Garlic sauce
  • Sour cream
  • Chili sauce
  • Ketchup

Tips

  • Add chili flakes for extra heat.
  • Use turkey or spicy sausage instead of beef.
  • For extra crispiness, sprinkle cheese directly onto the pan edge while frying.

Quick Variation

Turn them into mini snack pancakes by making smaller rounds — perfect for parties or lunchboxes.
