Egg Rolls

Crispy on the outside, savory and juicy on the inside—perfect snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup carrots (julienned or grated)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken or minced beef (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil

Wrapping & Frying

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • 1 beaten egg (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic.
  2. Add cabbage, carrots, and meat (if using).
  3. Season with soy sauce and pepper.
  4. Cook until slightly soft but not soggy. Let cool.
  5. Place filling on wrapper, roll tightly, and seal edges with egg wash.
  6. Heat oil and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain on paper towels.

Serve With

  • Sweet chili sauce 🌶️
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic mayo

Crispy Tips

  • Don’t overfill the wrapper.
  • Fry on medium heat for even crunch.
  • Keep filling dry for best crispiness.
