Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp honey or brown sugar
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp water
Optional for serving:
- Rice or noodles
- Sesame seeds
- Green onions
Instructions
- Make the sauce
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, honey, black pepper, and water.
- Cook the broccoli
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok.
- Stir fry broccoli for 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
- Remove from pan.
- Cook the shrimp
- Add remaining oil.
- Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
- Add garlic and chili flakes; cook 30 seconds.
- Combine
- Return broccoli to the pan.
- Pour in sauce and toss everything together for 1–2 minutes until coated.
- Serve
- Top with sesame seeds or green onions.
- Serve over rice or noodles.

- Don’t overcook shrimp — they become rubbery fast.
- For extra sauce, double the sauce ingredients.
- Add carrots, snap peas, or bell peppers for more vegetables.
