Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

This homemade strawberry ice cream is creamy, fruity, and packed with fresh strawberry flavor. It’s easy to make and tastes far better than store-bought versions.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

  • White chocolate chips
  • Crushed cookies

Instructions

1. Prepare the Strawberries

  1. Mix chopped strawberries with half the sugar.
  2. Let sit for 15–20 minutes until juicy.
  3. Mash lightly or blend for smoother ice cream.

2. Make the Ice Cream Base

  1. In a bowl, whisk together:
    • Heavy cream
    • Milk
    • Remaining sugar
    • Vanilla
    • Pinch of salt
  2. Stir in the strawberries.

3. Freeze

Ice Cream Maker Method

  • Churn according to your machine instructions.
  • Freeze 2–4 hours until firm.

No-Churn Method

  1. Pour mixture into a freezer-safe container.
