Tender, flaky fish fillets cooked in a rich garlic lemon butter sauce — quick, fresh, and full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, or snapper)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour (optional, for light crust)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with:
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
- garlic powder
- Lightly dredge in flour if desired.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook fish for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky.
Remove and keep warm. - Lower heat and add remaining butter and garlic.
- Cook garlic about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in:
- lemon juice
- lemon zest
- parsley
- Spoon sauce over fish and serve immediately.
