Ingredients
Lamb Chops
- 8 lamb loin or rib chops
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Coating
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Garlic Parmesan Butter
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
For Frying
- Vegetable or canola oil
Instructions
- Season the lamb
- Pat the lamb chops dry.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Coat
- Mix the flour and Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish.
- Lightly dredge each chop, shaking off excess.
- Fry
- Heat about 1 cm (½ inch) of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden and cooked to your preferred doneness.
- Transfer to a plate.
- Make the garlic Parmesan butter
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Melt butter in the skillet.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Stir in Parmesan and parsley.
- Finish
- Spoon the garlic Parmesan butter over the lamb chops or toss gently to coat.
