This easy no-knead garlic bread has a crispy golden crust, a soft fluffy center, and rich buttery garlic flavor. No mixer, no kneading, and almost impossible to mess up.
Ingredients
Dough
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1¼ cups warm water
Garlic Butter
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Pinch of salt
Optional
- Mozzarella or parmesan cheese
- Chili flakes
- Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Make the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Pour in warm water.
- Stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl and let rise for 1–2 hours until doubled.
2. Prepare the Garlic Butter
- Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a small bowl.
- Set aside.
3. Shape the Bread
- Lightly flour your hands and surface.
- Gently shape dough into a loaf or round ball.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
4. Add Flavor
- Brush generously with garlic butter.
- Sprinkle cheese or herbs on top if desired.
- Make a few shallow cuts on the surface.
5. Bake
- Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
