Viral Sheet Pan Nachos
Ingredients
- Tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar + Monterey Jack works great)
- 1 lb ground beef or chicken
- Taco seasoning
- Black beans
- Jalapeños
- Diced tomatoes
- Red onion
Optional toppings:
- Corn
- Avocado
- Cilantro
- Pickled onions
Sauces
- Sour cream
- Salsa
- Guacamole
- Hot sauce
- Queso
Method
1. Cook the meat
Brown beef or chicken in a skillet.
Add taco seasoning and a splash of water.
Cook until saucy.
2. Layer the nachos
On a sheet pan:
- chips
- cheese
- meat
- beans
- jalapeños
Then repeat another layer.
The layering is what makes them “viral-style” instead of dry chips on the bottom.
. Bake
Bake at:
- 400°F / 200°C
- for 8–10 minutes
Until cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
4. Finish
Top with:
- tomatoes
- onion
- cilantro
- avocado
- sour cream drizzle
Serve immediately.
Tips
- Use thick tortilla chips so they stay crisp.
- Freshly shredded cheese melts better.
- Add queso after baking for extra richness.
- Great for game nights or sharing platters.
