Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf 🍖

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs (700 g) ground beef
  • 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Optional Topping

  • Extra ketchup or barbecue sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the mixture

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a large bowl combine:

  • Ground beef
  • Stuffing mix
  • Water
  • Eggs
  • Onion
  • Ketchup
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper

Mix gently until combined.

Do not overmix.

2. Shape the meatloaf

Transfer mixture into:

  • A loaf pan
    or
  • Shape into a loaf on a baking sheet

Spread ketchup or barbecue sauce on top if desired.

3. Bake

Bake for about 50–60 minutes until fully cooked.

Internal temperature should reach:

  • 71°C (160°F) for beef

4. Rest and slice

Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve with:

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Green beans
  • Corn
  • Gravy
  • Dinner rolls
