Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf 🍖
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs (700 g) ground beef
- 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
Optional Topping
- Extra ketchup or barbecue sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the mixture
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
In a large bowl combine:
- Ground beef
- Stuffing mix
- Water
- Eggs
- Onion
- Ketchup
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
Mix gently until combined.
Do not overmix.
2. Shape the meatloaf
Transfer mixture into:
- A loaf pan
or - Shape into a loaf on a baking sheet
Spread ketchup or barbecue sauce on top if desired.
3. Bake
Bake for about 50–60 minutes until fully cooked.
Internal temperature should reach:
- 71°C (160°F) for beef
4. Rest and slice
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
