Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

Tender, juicy lobster tails brushed with rich garlic butter and baked until perfectly succulent — elegant enough for a special dinner but surprisingly easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prep the Lobster

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail. Gently pull the meat upward so it rests on top of the shell.

2. Make Garlic Butter

Mix melted butter with garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

3. Bake

Place lobster tails on a baking sheet.

Brush generously with garlic butter.

Bake 10–12 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly golden.

4. Finish

Brush with extra garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Serve with lemon wedges.

Perfect Side Dishes

  • Garlic mashed potatoes
  • Buttered asparagus
  • Rice pilaf
  • Caesar salad
  • Warm crusty bread

Tips for Perfect Lobster

  • Don’t overcook — lobster becomes rubbery quickly.
  • Broil for the final 1–2 minutes for extra color.
  • Use fresh lemon right before serving for brightness.
