Ingredients
Filling
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- ½ small onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: diced pickles or cooked bacon
Pastry
- 1 sheet puff pastry or refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Cook the filling
Brown the ground beef with onion in a skillet over medium heat.
Drain excess grease, then stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard.
Let cool slightly, then mix in cheese.
