Easy Baked Mac Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ tsp paprika
- Breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook Pasta
Boil macaroni until al dente. Drain.
2. Make Cheese Sauce
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
Slowly add milk while whisking until thick and smooth.
Add cheeses, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until melted.
3. Assemble
Mix pasta with cheese sauce.
Pour into a greased baking dish.
Top with extra cheese and breadcrumbs if desired.
4. Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbling.
