Cinnamon Roll Cake is a soft vanilla cake swirled with buttery cinnamon sugar and topped with a sweet glaze — like a giant cinnamon bun baked in a pan.
Ingredients
Cake Batter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Cinnamon Swirl
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Glaze
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
1. Prep the Oven
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. Make the Batter
Mix together until smooth:
- Flour
- Sugar
- Baking powder
- Eggs
- Vanilla
- Milk
- Melted butter
Pour batter into the baking dish.
3. Make the Cinnamon Swirl
Mix:
- Softened butter
- Brown sugar
- Flour
- Cinnamon
Drop spoonfuls across the batter and swirl with a knife.
4. Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
5. Add the Glaze
Whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over the warm cake.
