Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta Bake is a comforting and cheesy dinner loaded with tender chicken, pasta, and a rich garlic cream sauce. This easy baked pasta dish is perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish lightly.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
  5. Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese and 1 cup mozzarella cheese until melted.
  8. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce and mix well.
  9. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  12. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
