Ingredients
- 2–3 cups cooked ham (cubed or chunks)
- 4–5 medium potatoes (peeled and chunked)
- 3 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 1 small onion (sliced, optional)
- 2–3 cups chicken broth or water
- 2 tbsp butter (optional, for richness)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
1. Layer in Crockpot
- Add potatoes at the bottom.
- Add ham on top.
- Add green beans and onion last.
2. Add Liquid & Seasoning
- Pour in chicken broth until ingredients are just covered (or halfway).
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Drop in butter if using.
3. Slow Cook
- Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours
OR - Cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours
4. Finish
- Stir gently before serving.
- Taste and adjust salt/pepper if needed.

Tip
If you want it thicker and more “stew-like,” mash a few potatoes in the pot at the end—it naturally thickens the broth.
