Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Pockets are golden, buttery, flaky pockets stuffed with savory ham and gooey melted cheese—perfect for snacks, breakfast, or party food.


🥐 Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 6–8 slices ham
  • 6–8 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)
  • Black pepper (optional)

🔥 Instructions

1. Prep pastry

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.

2. Fill

  • Add a slice of ham and cheese to each square.
  • Add a tiny bit of mustard if using.
  • Sprinkle black pepper.

3. Seal

  • Fold into triangles or rectangles.
  • Press edges with a fork to seal.

4. Bake

  • Brush tops with egg wash.
  • Bake 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden.

🍽️ Tips

  • Don’t overfill or they may burst.
  • Chill assembled pockets 10 minutes before baking for better puff.
  • Use sharp cheddar for stronger flavor.
