Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole
Ingredients
- 300 g pasta (penne or rotini work best)
- 2 cups pizza sauce or marinara
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan
Meat
- 250 g ground beef
- 200 g sausage
- Pepperoni slices
- Optional: bacon or turkey pepperoni
Seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Chili flakes (optional)
Optional extras:
- Mushrooms
- Bell peppers
- Olives
Method
1. Cook the pasta
Boil until just al dente.
2. Brown the meat
Cook beef and sausage in a skillet until browned.
Drain excess grease.
Add:
- garlic powder
- Italian seasoning
- pizza sauce
Simmer a few minutes.
3. Assemble
Mix:
- pasta
- meat sauce
- half the cheese
Transfer to a baking dish.
Top with:
- remaining mozzarella
- parmesan
- pepperoni
4. Bake
Bake at:
- 375°F / 190°C
- for 20–25 minutes
Until bubbly and golden.
5. Serve
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Top with parsley or chili flakes if you like.
Variations
- Add jalapeños for heat
- Use Alfredo sauce for a white pizza version
- Swap pasta for tater tots
- Add extra cheese layers for a deep-dish feel
