Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

Ingredients

  • 2–4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: parsley, chili flakes

Instructions

1. Prep the Lobster

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell down the middle.
  3. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell (keep base attached).

2. Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Bake

  1. Brush lobster meat generously with garlic butter.
  2. Place on a baking tray.
  3. Bake for 10–12 minutes (until meat is opaque and tender).
  4. Baste again halfway through for extra flavor.

Optional Broil Finish

  • Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a golden top.

Serving Ideas

  • Steamed rice or mashed potatoes
  • Pasta (alfredo or lemon butter)
  • Fresh salad or grilled veggies

Tip

Don’t overcook—lobster turns rubbery quickly. It’s ready when it turns white and slightly firm but still juicy.
