Ingredients
- 2 lbs kielbasa sausage, sliced into bite-size pieces
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper for heat
Instructions
- Prepare the kielbasa
Slice kielbasa into rounds or small bite-size pieces. - Mix the sauce
In a bowl, stir together brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne if using. - Add to slow cooker
Place kielbasa in the slow cooker and pour sauce over the top. Stir to coat evenly. -
Cook
- LOW: 3–4 hours
- HIGH: 1½–2 hours
Stir once or twice during cooking if possible.
- Serve
Serve warm with toothpicks as an appetizer or over rice for a meal.
Optional Variations
- Add pineapple chunks for a sweet tropical twist.
- Use barbecue sauce instead of ketchup for smokier flavor.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
