Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Kielbasa Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs kielbasa sausage, sliced into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper for heat

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kielbasa
    Slice kielbasa into rounds or small bite-size pieces.
  2. Mix the sauce
    In a bowl, stir together brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne if using.
  3. Add to slow cooker
    Place kielbasa in the slow cooker and pour sauce over the top. Stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cook

    • LOW: 3–4 hours
    • HIGH: 1½–2 hours

    Stir once or twice during cooking if possible.

  5. Serve
    Serve warm with toothpicks as an appetizer or over rice for a meal.

Optional Variations

  • Add pineapple chunks for a sweet tropical twist.
  • Use barbecue sauce instead of ketchup for smokier flavor.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Tips

  • The sauce thickens as it cooks and coats the sausage beautifully.
  • Great for parties, game days, and potlucks.
  • Leftovers reheat very well.
